First things first, I CASE’d this card’s design from the awesomely clever 1-layer beauty done by @eamidgett I took an easier way out by die cutting my pieces tho. The sushi, onigiri, and accoutrements (from Ellen Hutson’s Wasabi set) were stamped on Bristol paper and colored w zig real brush markers. I also added some nuvo drops for a bit of shine and texture on the ikura, masago, chopsticks and rice grains. This is my anniversary card to @anthonut. We celebrated with an omekase dinner at a favorite sushi place—so I thought it fit the theme. Bonus: I used wood paper for the inner background and wood is the traditional 5th anniversary gift! Card made w the alcohol ink background from yesterday. I wanted to show off all those swirls and colors, so I heat-embossed my sentiment (M-powering Words from @powerpoppy) on a little “windowpane” of heat-resistant acetate.
